Dual Nail Packaging System

Cycle: 40 bags per minute

Nails are supplied to the feeder bowl from the bulk hopper.  This photo shows the nails entering the air jet orientation zone (top, just under the blue feeder trough) where they will enter the singulating track.  Nail travel is clockwise.

The right sealing/cutting head has just clamped a six-count bag.  The head will now lower with the bag clamped and the seperation cut made.  Each downward movement advances the film to prepare for the next bag.

Side view of the right sealing head as it travels downward, pulling in fresh film for the next bag.  The sealed bag can be seen just below the closed clamp head.
